MORE than 30 tractors turned out for a 30 mile ride through the countryside.
The charity run, organised by Beryl and Gareth Lloyd, who own G W Lloyd Garage Services in Bryn-y-Maen in Colwyn Bay, raised £600 for the Welsh Air Ambulance.
Drivers travelled on country lanes through Mochdre, Bryn Pydew, Llanelian and Betws-yn-Rhos and a lunch stop was taken at Silver Birch golf club. On the way back, Llangernyw was taken in before finishing off in Bryn-y-Maen.
Beryl said: "We had a very encouraging turnout - a total of 34 tractors.
"The drivers and supporters enjoyed lunch at Silver Birch Golf Club. A very enjoyable day was had. It is a very sociable event; one of the highlights was having tea and cake and a bit of a chat at the stop off.
"This was our third year.
"It was Gareth and his friend Roger who came up with the event and it has grown every year. The only thing is that a lot of people don't know about it.One year we travelled down the Conwy Bridge which got a lot of attention.
"We won't talk about how much work goes into the event," Beryl joked.
"We are now working towards our show in May."
