THREE father and son combinations helped Mochdre to a three wicket victory over Hawarden Park.

Skipper Will Evans enlisted the help of father Alun, while the father-son element continued with Stewart and Taylor Williams together with Matthew and Paul Humphreys made it a real family affair for the winning hosts.
Taylor Williams wasted no time in making an impact by taking out opener Campbell Marr for one, and Gareth Davies took the scalp of Dilruk Yahathugoda after he made just 16.
The combination of Adam Doyle and David Hughes made a steady 39 and 43, while Williams helped himself to another three wickets to finish the day with figures of 4-35 from 12 overs.
A trio of wickets from Liam Herbert for the loss of 16 runs made inroads into the lower order as the away side made 156 all out from 44 overs.
The home run chase began brightly despite losing Stewart Williams (14) and Will Evans (16), with Alex Davies producing a stunning knock before he was eventually stumped off an Ian Martin delivery on 54.
Gareth Davies was also a formidable presence at the crease and his unbeaten 22 ensured the fathers and sons went home happy as the home side reached their target for the loss of seven wickets after 43 overs of play.
The fourth placed side will look to make further ground on the top three when they host Gresford this Saturday.
