Police appealing for information following robbery of a Llandudno newsagent

Police are appealing for information following a robbery at Clifton House Newsagents in Llandudno this morning.

The robbery happened at 10.57am when a lone male entered the shop on Mostyn Street and threatened the shop assistant before making off with a quantity of cash and cigarettes.

The man who was wearing dark clothing left the shop on foot.

Inspector Kelly Isaacs said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity at the time of the incident or who may be offered Mayfair King Size cigarettes and Golden Virginia tobacco for sale to contact police.”

The shop assistant was left shocked by the incident.

Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to call Llandudno Police Station on 101 quoting reference V029041.
