THE timeless love story, Ghost, will be bringing its musical magic to the stage in Llandudno this week.

The production by Bill Kenwright, which takes its inspiration from the film starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg, sees the musical stop in Venue Cymru as part of its UK trip.

The story follows Sam (Andy Moss) and his girlfriend Molly (Carolyn Maitland), who are walking back to their apartment one night and endure a tragic encounter which sees Sam murdered and his beloved Molly left alone and in despair.

With the help of a psychic Sam who is trapped between this world and the next tries to communicate with Molly in the hope of saving her from grave danger.

Talking about the show Andy Moss, best known for playing Rhys Ashworth in Hollyoaks for eight years, said: “The main challenge for me is to make sure my voice can sustain it every day.

"There are some big numbers in it and I’ve been in bands over the years so I can sing, but doing it every night across eight or nine shows a week is a tough prospect. You have to know when to belt it out and when to hold back and save your voice.

“I’m looking forward to visiting towns and cities I’ve never been to. It’s got me so excited about acting again and it doesn’t just have to be on TV or in a film, I can go on tour and I go do it in another country.

“It’s a great show and a great part and I hope I manage to do it justice.”

Ghost – The Musical will be at Venue Cymru till Saturday, March 11.
