A CORNER shop owner in Wakefield who has gone viral on TikTok will be hosting a live ‘meet and greet’ at a Llandudno nightclub next month.

Mohammed Azar Nazir, the owner of Wakefield Wines (Wakey Wines) in West Yorkshire, recently became famous on TikTok for selling energy drink Prime for as much as £100 a bottle.

He posted videos with customers who bought Prime at his shop, with some spending up to £100 a bottle, and gained more than 500,000 followers until being banned from the app, and was shortly reinstated.

He will soon appear at Broadway Boulevard in Llandudno to host an under 18s event, when Ego Events will host their next under-18s session at the nightclub during the February half term, with the event expected to sell out.

On their social media, the event organisers said: "‘Abdul, come closer’ - But only on Tuesday 21 Feb for Ego Events at Broadway Boulevard.

In the viral videos, Mr Nazir’s customers join in with him with the catchphrases: “What’s the best shop in Wakey? Wakey Wines”, “Abdul, come closer, Abdul, go back,” and “Bingo bingo, Gala bingo”.

Customers have reportedly travel hundreds of miles to the store to buy the Prime drink, which sells out at regular supermarkets where it costs around £2 a bottle.

Nazir previously received an eight-year jail sentence back in 2015 and served four years behind bars.

It was reported at the time that he pleaded guilty to offences of possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply and two offences of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

The club has hosted other famous faces including Molly Mae, Joey Essex and Joel Corry.
