VEGETATION and drainage work set to take place in the Llandudno area is to take place for just two nights, after an error in a letter sent to residents.
Network Rail's letter to residents, which detailed plans to maintain the safety and reliability of the railway network in the area, had said the work would take place for nine nights (January 6-14).
Network Rail said this was an error, and the work will instead take place on January 6 and January 14, between 11.35pm and 8.20am.

Other areas along the Conwy coast are included in the work, such as Penmaenmawr.
They added that the nature of the work meant some noise was unavoidable, and that they would aim to keep sound to a minimum - they apologised for any disturbances the project may cause.
An excerpt from the letter read: "We'll soon be working in the Llandudno area to cut back vegetation and maintain our drainage assets, helping to maintain a safe and reliable railway."
