EMERGENCY services remain at the scene of a house fire that took place in Colwyn Bay last night (February 19).

Five fire crews and North Wales Police were called to the incident shortly before 9pm, in the Woodland Park West area.

The fire has since been put out, with a crew remaining at the scene.

The fire service said they would be conducting an investigation into the cause of the blaze later today (February 20).

From pictures and videos posted to social media, great damage can be seen to have been done to the roof of the property.

Yesterday, the fire service said that there were no reports of any casualties.

A North Wales Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 20.54 last night to a house fire in the area of Woodland Park West, Colwyn Bay

"At the height of the incident, five appliances were in attendance, as well as an aerial ladder platform, an incident command unit and a support vehicle.

"We remain at the scene, with one appliance and the aerial ladder platform in attendance.

"The cause of the fire will be investigated later today."
