TRAIN stations along the Conwy coast have been ranked according to their performance and passenger numbers.
The latest figures from the website On Time Trains revealed the performance and business of stations based on service punctuality and cancellation frequency and average daily passenger count.
Llandudno topped Conwy’s charts in terms of performance, ranking 564th in the UK (out of 2,623 stations).
Llandudno was also the best performing station in the UK on January 28.
At the lower end of performance, Conwy’s worst performing station was Conwy, ranking 835th.
Here is how Conwy’s stations ranked in terms of performance and business:
Colwyn Bay
The 1,109th busiest station, with an average 711 passengers each day.
It was ranked the 1,835th best performing in the UK, up 143 spots, with 57 per cent of trains on time.
Conwy
The 1,935th busiest station, with up to 145 passengers on average per day.

The station is the worst performing on the Conwy coast, placing at 1,903rd in the UK, with just 48 per cent of trains on time.
Llandudno
The UK’s 977th busiest station, with an average 884 passengers per day.
It was ranked the 564th best performing in the UK, up 90 spots, with 80 per cent of trains on time.
Llandudno Junction
The 862nd busiest in the UK, with an average 1,125 passengers each day.
Sitting at 1,493rd in terms of performance in the UK, approximately 63 per cent of trains are on time.
