PLANS have been revealed for a new sushi takeaway in Llandudno.

Edvard Ivanian has applied to Conwy County Council, seeking planning permission for the Japanese style take-away at 57b on Mostyn Avenue, Craig y Don.

The building was previously used as a tattoo studio.

There is no parking provision included in the planning application, but the sushi takeaway will create two full-time jobs and three part-time positions if granted.

The takeaway would be open 4pm to 9pm Monday to Friday and 1pm to 10pm on Saturdays.

Sunday and bank holiday opening hours would be 1pm until 9pm.

Resident H. Sanford wrote to Conwy County Council in support of the application.

He said, “I think it’s a great idea and will help keep Craig y Don looking lovely, not empty shops. I’m all for it.”

The planning application will likely be debated at a future Conwy County Council planning committee meeting at Bodlondeb.
