MULTIPLE thefts from vehicles took place in the Rhos-on-Sea area, with police issuing a warning to residents.

The incidents occurred over the weekend of March 30 and 31, with several reports of thefts from "unsecured" vehicles.

The force warned residents to remove valuable items from their cars, and lock their car doors prior to leaving the vehicles.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Over the weekend of Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 March, we have received reports of thefts from unsecured vehicles in the Rhos-on-Sea area.

"Please ensure you remove valuable items from your vehicles and check that you have locked the doors prior to leaving the vehicle, particularly overnight.

"Please report any suspicious behaviour via 101 or 999 in an emergency."
