THREE teenagers were discovered 'safe' following concerns they had entered the water by the Rainbow Bridge.
North Wales Police put out a statement on April 7 just after 1.30pm appealing for information after reports the young men had gone swimming near the bridge, located between Colwyn Bay and Llanddulas.
The force said: "We are appealing for information following reports of teenagers swimming in the sea near Rainbow Bridge, located between Colwyn Bay and Llanddulas. There are concerns for their safety, due to weather conditions in the area.
"The group has been described as three males in their early teens."
Police confirmed this morning (April 8) that the teenagers were "safely at home".
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: "We were informed for awareness by police at about 1.05pm on April 7 – we didn’t send any units."
