A NEW health and well-being facility in Llandudno have teamed up with Hope House Tŷ Gobaith ahead of their Yr Wyddfa trek this summer.

LVL 5 Gyms Ltd, which opened in Llandudno last December at the former Tudno Castle hotel site, will be offering special training classes to everybody who signs up for the challenge.

The trek being hosted by Hope House Tŷ Gobaith, on Saturday, July 27, will start from Llanberis.

Hikers will be guided by mountain leaders to the 1,085m summit of Yr Wyddfa.

LVL 5 are the headline sponsor for the fundraiser.

In a joint statement, LVL 5 co-owners Rich Blake and Siôn Pritchard said: “We have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the hospices and are very proud to be supporting this great active event as sponsor.

“Hope House Tŷ Gobaith sit perfectly with our values and we feel it is important to give back to the community – especially as none of us ever know when we may be touched by the vital services they provide.

“The hike up Yr Wyddfa is a great way for people to kick-start or motivate their fitness journey and get together with friends and loved ones.

“Leading up to the event we will be offering special training classes at LVL 5 open to everybody who signs up – so please join us and help make a real difference to local families.”

Participants can sign up to the fundraiser for £25 and pledge a commitment to raise a minimum of £100. There will be an opportunity to capture photos and enjoy hot fresh pizza on return – as well as securing a bespoke medal and goody bag with commemorative Buff.

Andy Everley, Hope House Tŷ Gobaith fundraiser, said: "With the generous support of Rich and Siôn from LVL 5 as our headline sponsor, we march not just towards the summit, but towards brighter futures for the 750 local families we support.

“LVL 5's kindness guarantees that every penny raised will directly contribute to our care, respite and bereavement support services.”
