A SEARCH for a missing person was carried out.
This was on Saturday afternoon (April 20).
Llandudno Coastguard partnered with Rhyl Coastguard for the search.
A statement from Llandudno Coastguard said: "As part of the overall search plan, we were tasked to search the beach and cycle path from Pensarn towards Towyn.
"During the course of our search we found someone fitting the description of the missing person and communicated our location to North Wales Police (NWP).
"NWP were able to confirm that we had found the missing person and all assets were stood down."
Anyone aware of someone in danger or distress, anywhere around the coast, can telephone 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
