RESIDENTS of Colwyn Bay have come together to pledge their support for the restoration of the Victoria Pier.

At a packed public meeting in the Town Hall on Friday evening, hundreds of supporters confirmed the landmark should be saved.

But serious questions surrounding the ownership of the pier and the cost of implementing any proposed improvements on the site must be answered before any work can begin.

Don't miss the next issue of the North Wales Pioneer for a full report on the meeting.

What do you think about Colwyn Bay's pier? Would you like to see the pier restored to its former glory? Or should it be demolished? Have your say by commenting below.
