Flint Town United 0 Llandudno 0
LLANDUDNO came away from a clash with league leaders Flint with a share of the points.
Co-manager Grant Montgomery said he was happy with the point which leaves Llandudno ten points behind Flint, but the Seasiders have three games in hand and could cut the gap to just one point.
Tudno started well on Saturday at Cae y Castell and put the home side under pressure creating chances with Danny Hughes shooting wide after a great run.
A fine Gareth Evans volley was just tipped over by Flint keeper Alan Jones.
In the second half Flint came into their own and started to create chances with Paul Williams' shot being well saved by Tudno's keeper Paul Whitfield.
Mr Montgomery said: "I think we have to be happy with a draw away from home. We could have had more. This leaves us in a similar situation as before the game started. The only team that benefited is Llangefni.
With Llandudno having faced a six-week lay-off from action the team is set to face a hectic fixture schedule over the coming months.
Mr Montgomery said: "They are still trying to squeeze games in. It will be a month by month thing but we will probably play more mid-week games. It is all still to play for. We just need to keep our eye on the ball."
Llandudno face Mold Alex at home tonight (Wednesday) and are in action again on Saturday with a home match against Guilsfield.
