INTERNET sites have been flooded with loving tributes to a man who touched the lives of many.
Chris Heath, a member of Colwyn Bay homeless community, died yesterday. Flowers, candles and heart-felt messages have been left on Penrhyn Road where the well-loved man, who was in his late 50s, died.
The Pioneer website has received more than 4, 000 viewings since news of Chris’ death broke and the site has been inundated with loving tributes.
Members of Facebook group RIP Chris have rocketed, since it was created in the past 24 hours, with 1, 712 people joining to pay their respects. Delyth Roberts wrote: “Wherever you are now Chris. Look at all the fuss you made!!! Rest in peace xxxxx”
Facebook user Nicki Hawley paid tribute by posting a poem on the group’s wall. She wrote: “Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow, I am the softly falling snow, I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain.
"I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush, Of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry,I am not there. I do not die.
“Rest in peace Fergal, ♥,” she added.
