ST DAVID’S DAY celebrations came to Colwyn Bay last week with a special Welsh parade.
Around 600 school children from local schools took part in the colourful parade, following St David through town while waving Welsh flags.
Participants also wore traditional dress in honour of the patron Saint of Wales, whilst the drummers of the Samba Stiniog group brought a carnival atmosphere to proceedings. Schools throughout the area also held their own St David’s Day celebrations.
