ON Wednesday, September 2 the Penhill Lunch Club went on a day trip to Evesham.
After a very pleasant drive through beautiful countryside, we stopped for a cooked lunch that was very enjoyable.
After lunch we went on a boat trip on the River Avon where we were served a real treat of a cream tea.
Of course all this had to be arranged and I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Mike and Diana for all their hard work, I feel certain, all the members of the luncheon club would like to be included in saying thank you too, while we are expressing our thanks we would like to thank Jess and Trish from Zurich for all their hand work too.
It was a day very much appreciated.
