A WINE dealer was given the royal seal of approval when he was asked to supply drink for Prince William during RAF celebrations.
North Wales Wines and Spirits based just outside Conwy, were contacted directly from RAF Cranwell and were asked to supply the wine when the young Prince received his RAF wings.

Wine Merchant John Lang was surprised to get the call.

“Whether or not Prince William and his dad, Prince Charles enjoyed the wine I’m not sure, although I’d love to know.”

The presenting of the winged badges was held at in Lincolnshire and saw Prince Charles present RAF Wings to his son, Prince William, along with 24 other graduates. The prestigious award was also presented to Prince Charles almost forty years ago.
