Llandudno is full of Bed and Breakfasts and hotels so it comes as no surprise it now boast one of the friendliest in the country.

The Oasis B&B in Llandudno were awarded second place in the 2018 Friendliest B&B of the Year category run by AA at an official ceremony in London last month.

AA inspectors chose the B&B ahead of more than 2000 other establishments across the UK.

After collecting their award Oasis owners Carole Phillips and Ed Hart said: "From our first day at The Oasis, we have worked hard to provide the kind of welcome and environment for every guest that we would want to receive ourselves.

"We are thrilled that this has been appreciated by guests and recognised by the AA. We never dreamed that we would receive such an accolade so soon.

"We would like to thank our staff, suppliers and, most importantly, our guests for making the running of The Oasis such a pleasure and privilege.

"We always wanted AA accreditation, believing it reflected the standards of customer service we aspired to. Being a finalist in the friendliest B&B award recognises that we are succeeding in the most important part of running The Oasis – making all our guests feel happy and welcome."

Acquired by Carole and Ed in June 2016, The Oasis has been given a new lease of life. Since their first day in charge, they have had a clear focus on providing excellent customer service, while maintaining a discreet and relaxed environment.

They aim to continually improve every guest’s experience and exceed their expectations. Evidence of their success includes the improvement in The Oasis’ TripAdvisor ranking, from 45th out of 60 in June 2016 to 8th in March 2018.

The Oasis is one of only a handful of Guest Houses in Llandudno with 4 AA stars (previously to their arrival, The Oasis had no formal accreditation).
