COLWYN Bay Rugby Club enjoyed a bittersweet 19-12 away victory against Abergele RFC at Pentre Mawr Park on Saturday (March 30).
Despite the win, the Bay narrowly missed out on a bonus point try, potentially complicating their promotion ambitions.
The Bay battled hard for a fourth try, but in tough conditions, Abergele kept them out.
Fly-half Will Opie was named the team’s man of the match.
