THERE was plenty seasonal cheer at Penmaenmawr's Festive Fayre.
The event, which took place in the village earlier this month, was organised by newly established group - Penmaenmawr Community Events.
Visitors enjoyed live music, an ice skating ring, a snow globe, a fun fair and a range of food and drink stalls. A range of other stalls were also held under the Victorian veranda.
A Santa dash also proved popular.
Cllr Dafydd Lloyd-Borland, of Penmaenmawr Community Events Team, said: "The event was sponsored by Penmaenmawr Town Council and was supported by many local businesses and individuals in the community to whom we are very grateful. We set the group up to enable the community and visitors to enjoy our village and to help and support local business and community groups.
"The event was well attended with many hundreds attending during the day. At 7pm, we had our Christmas light switch on with a firework display.
"We had a variety of musical performances by many local artists which went down very well with the crowds."
The group is taking booking for 2018 which will take place on Saturday, December 1 2018.
