The three Llandudno lifeboats were called out 40 times during 2017, despite moving into a new boat house, retiring one boat and receiving a new one.
Of these, six incidents involved the now retired all weather lifeboat Andy Pearce, three for its replacement the William F Yates and 31 for the inshore lifeboat Dr Barbara Saunderson.
In addition, the William F Yates with a Llandudno crew on board, carried out two rescues during a training passage off the south coast of England and assisted with a further RNLI rescue operation off the coast of Anglesey during her delivery voyage from Poole to North Wales.
An RNLI Llandudno spokesman said: "This past 12 months was a particularly demanding year for our crews and other volunteer personnel, with the station remaining fully operational throughout while moving house from the old town-centre boathouse to the new Craig-y-Don base. At the same time we converting to a much faster and more technologically-advanced lifeboat, the William F Yates, which uses a revolutionary new method of launching and recovery."
