A woman was seriously injured in a road accident in Rhos on Sea on Sunday evening.
Police and ambulances were called to the accident in Cayley Promenade, and the woman was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan. and then on to a hospital in Stoke on Trent, in a serious condition.
The road was closed by the police and diversions were put in place until the road was re-opened several hours later. One vehicle was involved in the accident.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: "We called to a report that a green 206 Peugeot had collided with street furniture and overturned on the Promenade at Rhos-on-Sea. The female driver sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital in Stoke."
