Fans of the smash hit The Greatest Showman can go one better in Llandudno next month.

One of Wales’ longest-running troupes, Llandudno Youth Music Theatre marks its 40th year of performance with the spectacular two-night showcase, Barnum, celebrating the legendary showman played by Hugh Jackman in the 2017 film.

It promises to be a joyful and moving musical portrait of the legendary showman and roguish snake oil salesman PT Barnum, whose charm and guile earned him an immortal place in the annals of American entertainment.

Expect an all-singing, all-dancing, all-unicycling, tightrope-walking, juggling, trapeze, death-defying rollercoaster accompanied by classic show-stopping tunes.

Firm favourites such as Follow the Band, There’s a Sucker Born Every Minute and Join the Circus add vibrant colour to the show, creating the perfect pageant to whet the appetite of anyone hankering for another dose of spellbinding showmanship after falling for the Jackman-led extravaganza earlier this year.

Join the fun on Friday, July 20 and Saturday July 21 at 7.30pm with an additional 2.30pm showing on the Saturday.

Tickets for the 7.30pm showings are £16.50, £15 for the matinee showing, and are available from venue cymru.co.uk or by calling 01492 872000.
