THE Asda supermarket in Llandudno is open again as usual after temporarily closing earlier today (July 19) due to a “local grid issue”.
Customers who could not be served at the supermarket, on Conway Road, were treated to free cold drinks and ice lollies while they waited for the issue to be resolved.

A spokesperson for Asda said: “Due to an issue with the local grid, our Llandudno store was temporarily unable to serve customers this afternoon.
“We were able to reboot our systems within an hour so that everything is now back to normal.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this issue but we hope that customers enjoyed the ice lollies and cold drinks free of charge whilst they waited.’’
