Conwy won by 4 wickets

CONWY won the derby clash with Llandudno thanks to Ioan Williams’ five wicket haul.

The Castlemen made a great start, with Williams reducing Llandudno to 42-4.

Lewis Jones anchored Tudno’s top order with 24 and 39 from Tom Bleasdale helped them to 126.

Dan Davies took two for 40 and there was a wicket each for Jake Longmore, Shaun Davies and David Wilkinson.

Llandudno’s Andy Christian raised hopes with two wickets in his third over, but a solid 26 from Jonathon Davies helped Conwy to 50 for four before captain Dave Wilkinson led his side to victory with an unbeaten 42.

Shaun Kitchen joined Christian with two wickets.


Conwy Seconds raced to victory against Corus Colours with a nine wicket win.

Four wickets for Nick Davies and two each from John Brummer and David Owen saw nine-man Corus all out for 79.

Stuart Watkins (46) and Graham Heath (20) then paired up to see Conwy to victory.
