Mochdre won by two wickets 

ADAM Campion kept Mochdre’s outstanding season on track with a heroic unbeaten 142 run stand.


The captain’s tally provided most of Mochdre’s winning 227 run total, as they recorded their ninth victory of the season.

Park declared on 223 Russ Boswell taking 3 for 31 while Gareth Davies bagged a pair.

Mochdre were 14 for two when the day’s top performer picked up his bat, pairing up with Joe Chaplin, who scored 23, to take the score past the half century mark for the third wicket.

With no other Mochdre batsman reaching double figures the game went to the wire with Boswell joining campion in the match winning partnership with eight vital late runs.


Mochdre Seconds stay in the hunt for promotion after a 135 run win over Llandudno Thirds.

The Stevens brothers Roy (33) and Ross (41) teamed up to score 89 for the first wicket, and Dan Parry enjoyed a big hitting innings with five fours and sixes to top score on 66, as Mochdre scored 222 for eight in 40 overs.

Haydn Ballinger took four for 37 in a whirlwind five overs, whileLaurance Clair took three and Dan Evans another for Llandudno.

A six wicket haul from Richard Totton then saw Mochdre secure their 13th win of the campaign, as Llandudno came up well short of their target.

Lewis Pike (20) and Mark Lambe (19) topped Tudno’s scoring, with Roy Stevens, Dan Parry and Mark Williams taking the remaining wickets.
