CONWY UNITED have appointed former Colwyn Bay midfielder Mick McGraa as their new player-manager.
McGraa, 28, has been appointed the Musselmen’s new boss after managing Cammel Laird’s reserve side this season, bringing in Steve Aspinall from Llandudno as his assistant and Paul McGregor as the club’s first team coach.
“I am very proud to have been appointed manager and thank the club for showing confidence in me.
“Myself and my backroom staff intend to work hard to help develop the whole club from the first team, the reserves and then right down to the youth section.”
Chairman Geoff Cartwright, who worked with McGraa at Colwyn Bay said he was delighted to be re-united with the winger.
Conwy will hold a practice match this week to assesses the current squad, ahead of Mick’s first game in charge on January 2 at Llangefni Town.
