Llandudno 1 Buckley Town 3
A THIRD straight defeat continued Llandudno’s recent dip in form as they were again reduced to ten men in a 3-1 defeat to Buckley Town.
The visitors started well, with Tudno keeper Andy Rooney making four great saves to deny Town striker Mike Burke, as the two sides went in level at the break.
But a miscued clearance from Rooney early in the second half finally let Burke tap in the opener, and Matty Hughes headed in a second on 49 minutes.
Chris Melia, Lee Jones and Lee Thomas all went close as Llandudno got back into the contest, with the latter finally getting a deserved Tudno goal with 15 minutes to spare by chipping the keeper from outside the box.
Melia, Thomas and Darren Gowans also went close as Llandudno pushed for the leveller, but Neil Wynn capitalised on a mix-up at the back to put the game beyond doubt in the 89th minute, before Kevin Fields became the third Llandudno player to be sent off in as many games in the final minute.
