LLANDUDNO boss Deiniol Graham is looking for a strong finish to his side’s Huws Gray Alliance campaign as he begins his preperations for next season.
Tudno are on course for a solid mid-table finish after recovering from a nightmare first half of the season, with a battling 1-1 draw away at Llanrhaeadr consolidating ninth place in the table.
Graham said he was disappointed to not pick up his third win on the bounce, and said plans were already being formulated for next season as he makes a final assessment of his squad over the remaining four fixtures.
“I was quite disappointed wit the facilities there really. I took one look at the pitch and knew it would be difficult for us. We want to play good football, but sometimes we have to mix and match a bit, but on the positive side we showed we can battle.
“I think we’re looking to finish well. We’ve pulled away from some of the other sides around us, and we’ve got a tough game against Cefn at home on Friday night and then Conwy after that. If we can win three of the four then that would be an excellent finish.
“I’m already looking at next year. We’ve spoken about a few players and I’ve spoken to some of the lads who we want to keep for next year, and there’s a lot of work to get done.”
Lee Thomas was again on form to put Llandudno ahead a minute into the second half with an instinctive volley, but a Tom Evans header mid-way through the second period shared the points.
