LLANDUDNO moved to the top of the Division Four table with their fourth straight win over Runcorn, finishing up 5-2 winners.

Tudno were made to work for their win in Cheshire, as Tom Simpson opened the scoring early on when he got round the back of the defence and his pull back was deflected into the goal.

Stefan Cooling added a composed second after a lightning counter attack and a cool finish into the bottom left corner.

Runcorn got back into the game with a goal either side of half time, before Joe Edwards’ superb finish restored Llandudno’s lead.

Simpson added a fourth from a penalty corner before Cooling scored a carbon copy of his earlier strike to put the victory beyond doubt.

The second team were also 5-2 winners, with Joe Cryer netting a double along with strikes from Chris Parry, Jordan Roberts and Steve Sharp.

Colwyn Bay’s first team beat Cheshire 3-2, while the seconds lost by the same scoreline to Winnington Park.

The thirds were also in action, losing out 4-3 to Bowdon.
