NANT Conwy produced a sensational display to record a 25-15 WRU National Plate victory at Blaenavon.
The WRU National League Division One North leaders had the better of the opening exchanges and went ahead on five minutes when Carwyn ap Myrddin continued his sensational recent form to touch down for an unconverted score.
Arthur Lennon increased their advantage on 22 minutes with a penalty struck in typically composed fashion, and the rampant visitors went further in-front on the half hour mark when Ifan Hughes crashed over.
After the interval saw the home side finally impose themselves on proceedings, and they were rewarded for their improved play when James Graham crossed the white wash following an impressive team move.
This provoked a strong response from the away side, who notched another score on 53 minutes when Sion Pringle went over, with the outstanding Lennon adding the extras.
The tie was sealed on 64 minutes when another sweeping phase resulted in an easy score for Carwyn Ellis to round of the scoring for the away side.
Credit to the hosts, they kept plugging away and scored a pair of tires late on through James Selway and Luke Meredith it was not enough to prevent Nant from advancing to the fifth round stage.
