RGC Women celebrated a fantastic season at their end of season awards.

The female Gogs joined their male counterparts at the special event on Sunday, May 27, which saw a host of honours dished out to the squad in recognition of their outstanding contributions.

Welsh international Rachel Taylor has led by example this term and this contributed to her winning both the Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year as a result of her consistent performances and ability to inspire.

Another that has enjoyed a fantastic season in an RGC shirt is Jess Kavanagh-Williams, with the pacey back coming away with the Supporters’ Player of the Year and Try of the Year for her outstanding touch down against Newport Gwent Dragons.

The impressive development throughout the campaign from Serena Brymer was enough to give her the Most Improved Player of the Season title, and rounding off the awards was Ffion Williams, to picked up the Community Player of the Year thanks to the contribution she has made during various projects to enhance participation in the sport.

It was a hugely successful season for the Gogs, who came within touching distance of securing their first ever regional competition triumph, before eventually falling to Ospreys in their final series of fixtures.
