ST ASAPH City manager Daniel Brewerton has secured the services of more key squad members ahead of the new season.

The newly appointed boss continues to build a strong looking squad for their tilt at the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One, with five more agreeing to stay on at the Saints.

Jason Foulkes and Paul Fleming, who are currently starring for North Wales Cricket League Premier Division title hopefuls St Asaph throughout the summer, have signed extensions at the city side, while former youth team standout Harry Langston will get the chance to establish himself within the squad after signing senior forms.

The extremely talented David Lawson-Cooke is another notable re-signing after making a huge impression during the latter stages of the previous campaign, and the playmaking forward will look to progress his considerable ability even further under Brewerton following an impressive spell with Bala Town’s Academy.

Rounding off the re-signings is popular figure John Terry, who produced a number of exceptional displays for the Saints last term and can operate in either defence or midfield.

Brewerton’s side have also confirmed five pre-season fixtures to ready themselves for their third-tier campaign, and they begin their friendly fixtures with a home tie against Meliden on Saturday, July 21.

This will be followed by a trip to Huws Gray Alliance runners-up Denbigh Town on July 24, before visiting Connah’s Quay Nomads for a clash against their U19 side on July 27.

A home game against Llanuwchlyn is scheduled for July 31, and Denbigh Reserves are confirmed for August 4.
