LLANDUDNO boss Iwan Williams has reinforced his squad with three more additions ahead of the new JD Welsh Premier League season.

The club confirmed that Osian Jones, Telor Williams and Sean Thomas have been added to the squad after the young trio impressed the Tudno manager during the initial stages of pre-season.

Jones is a talented forward who turned out for Llangefni Town last season and was recently capped by Welsh Colleges, with shot stopper Thomas brought in as understudy to current number one Shaun Pearson, who arrived from Huws Gray Alliance outfit Holywell Town.

Williams has worked with the current boss at Caernarfon Town where he was handed his senior debut, and he will also be given a chance to prove himself within the senior set-up in the weeks and months ahead.

The Tudno manager, said: “Osian has been brilliant throughout the course of pre-season with his work rate and grittiness.

“He’s been at the club for a number of years progressing through the youth system and he deserves as chance in terms of being included in the first team squad. He’s fearless and will run channels all day long for us.

“We will be giving Telor a first team squad number as he’s done fantastically well since coming in and the squad have taken to him immediately. With only Steve Thomas and Zebb (Edwards) giving us balance on the left-hand side, Telor will have his opportunities and given his recent performances we are comfortable with throwing him into the deep end should we need to.

“Sean has impressed us a lot in training since coming in and at his age and experience we are lucky to have him working alongside Peo as well as Elliott Jarvis and Tom Lewney under the guidance and tuition of Dave Guinn.”
