PENRHYN Bay Dragons marked their first competitive fixture with a thumping 6-0 win at Denbigh Development.

The Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Division One side made light work of their opponents thanks to a scintillating attacking display, and they were two-up within the opening seven minutes thanks to strikes from Luke Jones and Jack Carey.

Jones was on hand to treble their advantage with another fine effort on 35 minutes, with Carey notching his brace a minute before the interval to all-but seal the points.

After the break saw the away side go further clear when Connor Alston found the net on 46 minutes, and Jones rounded off a sensational individual display on 65 to seal his hat-trick and complete the rout.
