A STUNNING century from Aron Hughes guided Llanrwst to a 165-run victory over North Wales Cricket League Division One basement dwellers Conwy.

Scott Thomas aided his partner considerably with a knock of 50, which was followed by Trefor Williams (23) and Alwyn Williams (27) securing double-figure scores to further add to the scoreboard.

Veteran all-rounder Nathan Jones was ousted by Nick Davies after making a promising 28, with Matt Jackson also taking a pair of wickets as the home side set a sensational target of 303-8 from their 50 overs at the crease.
