LLANELWY Athletic demonstrated their attacking prowess once again to seal an emphatic 7-1 win at Rhos United.
The runaway Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Division One leaders were in ruthless mood to make it 63 goals from their opening nine contests, and James Burke was the star of the show after an outstanding four-goal salvo which played a huge contributing factor in their success.
Matty Lewis, Kevin Rickard and Frankie Hennigan also found the net for the visitors, who currently sit six points ahead of Henllan having played a game more following their narrow 45-3 triumph over St Asaph City Reserves.
A brace from Kieran Kendrick did the majority of the damage for the away side, with Dave Wilkins and Kevin Davies cancelling out two from Ethan Jones and a solitary Lewis Thomas strike.
Solomon Dickens, Jake Carey, Emanuel Udo (2), Jack Lidgett, Ethan Hill and Jack Williams all netted for Penrhyn Bay Dragons to secure a resounding 7-1 victory at Betws-y-Coed, and Ryan Anderson put in a virtuoso display to hit a treble for Rhuddlan Town Reserves in their 4-1 home win over basement dwellers Denbigh Development.
The only other game of the weekend saw Llysfaen triumph 2-0 over Llanfairfechan Town Reserves thanks to efforts from Alec Jones and Josh Daniels.
