BANGOR City have been handed a home draw as they look to progress to the JD Welsh Cup third round.

The Citizens managed to book their place in the hat thanks to a comfortable home win over Mold Alexandra, and they have been rewarded with a tie against Cefn Albion at the VSM Stadium.

Huws Gray Alliance side Porthmadog will be aiming to avoid a cup upset during their tricky looking trip to Llanfair United, with Chris Roberts’ Llangefni Town aiming to reach the next stage of the competition after being drawn at home to Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One rivals St Asaph City.

Nantlle Vale will be aiming to cause a major upset when they travel to second tier mainstays Guilsfield, and Holyhead Hotspur will now plenty about their opponents as they welcome Ruthin Town to The New Stadium.

Former winners Rhyl and Prestatyn Town have been handed home draws against Caersws and Berriew respectively, with the clash between Flint Town United and Gresford sure to draw a large crowd to Cae y Castell.
