CAERSWS crashed to a 15th defeat of the season as Andy Moran fired Prestatyn Town to victory at a mist shrouded Bastion Road.
To compound a miserable afternoon the Bluebirds also saw midfielder Geraint Lewis sent off for a second caution at the death.
Once again Caersws more than matched their high-flying hosts with a well-disciplined performance.
However Prestatyn started the better and should have carved out an early lead with Steve Rogers twice going close to breaking the deadlock.
Rogers also tested visiting goalkeeper Dave Jones with a header from a Russ Jones cross.
At the other end Chris Melia warmed the gloves of Jon Hill-Dunt with a rasping long range drive, with the latter also denying Lewis on the stroke of the interval.
Prestatyn were forced into changes in the second-half with the influential ex-Welshpool duo of Gareth Wilson and striker Rogers making way.
The Seasiders proceeded to start dominating with player-manager Neil Gibson’s powerful shot shaking the post, with Moran failing to convert the loose ball.
Prestatyn continued to threaten with Mike Parker also hitting the woodwork.
Caersws’ chances were sparse but recent signing Phil Jones continued to endear himself to the Bluebirds’ supporters with a few half chances as minutes ebbed away.
However with 12 minutes remaining Fisher-Cooke took a tumble under a challenge from Jones, with Moran stepping up to convert the resulting penalty kick.
Caersws’ hopes of a late riposte ended when Lewis picked up a second caution with minutes remaining.
