There’s no stopping the Colwyn Bay Futebol league, as the reigning champions OC Galacticos kicked off the season with a 7-0 win.

Last year’s runners up Colwyn Bay Royals scraped a 1-0 win over Raching Parminder thanks to a Mark Richards goal, with Racing keeper Dave Williams named man of the match for a fine performance.
Dean Edwards celebrated his birthday as his side Bayerneverlosin beat The Busby Baybes 3-1, Rob King (2) and Steve Chegwin with the goals, whilst man of the match Robbie Knowles netted for the Baybes.
OC Evolution recorded an opening night victory over new team Deganwy Originals, with Ben Evans netting twice and brothers Shaun and Dan Taylor Lewis putting away the others.
The Futsal Fusiliers got off to a superb start after a disappointing previous campaign, beating Action Villa 5-0 with a brace from man of the match Connor Bowler and goals from Karl Cody, Ridvan and Rob Plester.
James Cody hit a hat trick for Ask Frank as they beat OC Milan 6-0, with Chris Campbell, Kev Godwin and Adam Wright also getting on the scoresheet, Mike Hanily taking the man of the match award.
Another new side, Colwyn Bay Royals Reserves, played out a 2-2 draw with FCMatteh4Life; Royals goalscorers were Gez Roberts and Nathan Humphries, whilst Dale Tudball and Kylan Ellis netted for FC.
The night’s remaining fixture was cancelled as new team Premier Toyota were not ready to start for the night, so they will face PSV Hangover on another night.
