LLANRWST United have boosted their attacking options with the signing of Merrick Knight.
The forward joins Barry Owen’s in-form Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One side from Llandudno Junction, who have yet to record a win in the Huws Gray Alliance so far this term.
He turned out nine times for Iain Bennett’s side, scoring two goals.
Knight has plenty of pedigree in the third tier during a hugely successful stint with Glan Conwy, and he became the club’s top scorer and a prominent part of the set-up before his move to the Railwaymen.
His introduction is set to significantly strengthen the Rwsters’ attacking options for the second half of the season, with the club performing largely above expectations and currently find themselves in third position in the standings and eight points behind Conwy Borough with a game in hand.
Owen’s side make the trip to Pwllheli on Saturday, and United also come up against Blaenau Ffestiniog in cup action later this month.
