FORWARD Astley Mulholland and goalkeeper Matt Copper scooped double individual honours from Colwyn Bay’s annual presentation evening.

The Seagulls celebrated a fantastic second half of the campaign on Thursday, April 26 following their clash with Trafford, which was their final home game of the season.

Gifted shot stopper Cooper was rewarded for his exceptional run of form with both the Players’ Player and Supporters’ Player of the Season Awards, beating out Will Booth in the voting.

Mulholland, who has been one of the leading lights in Bay’s resurgence under Alan Morgan, was presented with the Golden Boot after firing in 18 goals before injury hampered him for the crucial final few games, and he was also given the Directors’ Player of the Year accolade.

Rounding off the presentation was Kyle Jacobs, who impressed Morgan enough to receive the Manager’s Player of the Year after a consistent campaign.

The Bay boss, said: “I can’t praise the lads enough and I’ve loved every minute of being here. I think we were 15th or 16th when I came in, but the players have given me everything and some have been playing through the pain barrier with injuries in the last few games.”
