LLANDUDNO star Toby Jones has swiftly ended speculation regarding his future after signing a new deal with the club.

The talented forward, who was recently linked with a move to Bangor City, has agreed to stay on until at least the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

He follows in the footsteps of midfield talisman Danny Hughes, who also gave manager Iwan Williams a boost by signing and extension earlier this week as he continues to form his squad ahead of his first full season at the helm.

Jones was one of the standout performers at the Giant Hospitality Stadium throughout their JD Welsh Premier League campaign, something which earned him national recognition with an appearance for Wales C in their international friendly against England.

He said: “I’m excited by next season already, having worked with Iwan in previous years I know his capabilities of putting together a strong squad which I believe he will do, and together pushing the club in the right direction which I’m looking forward to.”

It promises to be a very busy summer for the Tudno boss, who recently released the high-profile duo of Marc and Mark Williams as he continues to stamp his mark on the squad after arriving at the club during the season.
