LLANDUDNO have officially released their retained and released list following what has been a hugely busy summer of transfer activity.

Manager Iwan Williams has rung the changes as he looks to make a significant impression during his first full season at the helm of the JD Welsh Premier League side, brining in more than a dozen new faces into the fold in the first few weeks of the summer.

Only four squad members from last season have been kept on, with midfield talisman and Wales C international Toby Jones agreeing new deals at the Giant Hospitality Stadium.

Talented playmaker Jay Gibbs is another that has been extended after joining from Caernarfon Town, while assistant manager Matty Williams has decided to continue in his dual role.

A total of 11 players have departed the club, which includes the high-profile brother duo of Marc and Mike Williams and ex-captain Tom Dix.

Goalkeeper Alex Lynch did not enjoy the best of times at Tudno and was not kept on, with James Joyce also departing for pastures new and is set to go on trial at Football League side Crewe Alexandra.

The defensive duo of Wes Baynes and Danny Shaw are no longer involved at the club, with Tudno legend Lee Thomas also on the list after departing to join newly promoted Huws Gray Alliance side Conwy Borough.

Sam Hart, Ryan Edwards and Patrick Rutter round off the released list after being told they are no longer part of the future plans at Tudno under Williams.

A club spokesman, said: “Llandudno Football Club would like to wish all those who have departed the club the very best in their future careers, and place on record our thanks for their time here.”
