LLANDUDNO manager Iwan Williams has continued his busy summer of transfer activity with the captures of two more signings.

The JD Welsh Premier League side announced the arrivals of Alun Webb and Ieuan Hewitt to their new-look squad, which have acquired 11 new signings since the season concluded a number of weeks ago.

Hewitt arrives at the Giant Hospitality Stadium after a spell at Huws Gray Alliance side Flint Town United, with the defender turning in a number of exceptional performances last term for the Silkmen.

The talented Webb came through the Tudno youth system and joins from Gallivare Malmbergets FF in Sweden following a hugely impressive spell at Rhyl last season.

The tricky winger was a huge part of the Lilywhites’ squad before moving on to pastures new, and Williams was delighted to have secured the signatures as he looks to improve the club’s fortunes next season.

He said: “Ieuan is physical in the tackle and has great distribution and will suit exactly how we want to play next season.

“He’s another player whom is eager and wants to prove himself at the highest level and we hope to give him the platform to kick on in his career. Again, we’ve looked to bring balance in this season of players whom have been there and done it but also characters who want to prove themselves at the highest level.

“Alun has Welsh Premier experience and is your typical pacey winger. He’s direct and fit as anything. Having represented Lymm University and playing within the National Tournament which is no mean feat, he has the attitude and characteristics to do very well here and we’d like to welcome him home to Llandudno Football Club."
