RGC head coach Mark Jones has stated that Danny Cross’ return to form has given him a selection headache ahead of their clash with Bedwas at Stadiwm Zip World on Saturday (4pm).

The talented back has emerged from a frustrating time with injury to make his presence felt for the Principality Premiership title contenders during the second half of the season, and the Gogs will need to put their disappointing loss at Pontypridd as they return to home soil.

He has endured a frustrating time on the sidelines in recent years due to a series of niggling problems, but his form could be key to any success that comes the Gogs’ way between now and the end of what has been another memorable campaign.

Jones, said: "Danny missed the early part of the season with injury, but it is great to have him back and it adds that depth to the squad as he can play in a few positions.

“Jacob (Botica) didn't have his best game against Pontypridd, which happens to all players and we have Danny putting the pressure on to start as well, so I have some choices to make.

“Danny can also offer something different as well so if we need to change up our play then he give us that option then that is also something we can do.”

Following their defeat at Ponty, RGC are now fourth in the standings and nine points behind leaders Merthyr with a game in hand.
