LLANDUDNO extended their WRU National League Division One North winning run with a convincing 30-9 triumph over Dolgellau.

The home side got off to a strong start and went ahead on three minutes courtesy of a superb penalty from Ryan Pike, but Dol hit back instantly to regain the advantage with two free-kicks of their own.

This provoked a strong response from the hosts, who secured the first try of the contest through some excellent play from young scrum-half Byron Davies, only for the away side to get back ahead just before the break with another penalty.

After the interval brought complete dominance from Dudno, and their improved attacking prowess saw prop John Stokes power over for a score that was converted by Pike.

This was followed soon after by another touch down from the outstanding Morgan Owen, and the rampant home side extended their advantage further when Ed Weston crossed the white wash. Pike added the extras to round off the scoring.

Llandudno travel to Bethesda in their next league outing on March 24 (2.30pm).
