LLANDUDNO continued their exceptional WRU National League Division One North form with a comfortable 29-7 home win over Bethesda.

The hosts got off to the best possible start on three minutes when a quick break from Lloyd Evans split the defence before he handed off to Ryan Pike to go over for an unconverted score.

The same player was on hand to cross the white wash again soon after following a prolonged period of phases soon after, and Pike dusted himself off to fire over the conversion and extend the Goats’ advantage further.

There was time for more drama before the break when Jack Hughes powered over for their third try, but Kelvin Davies would not see the second period after being shown a red card.

After the interval saw Dudno continue to dominate and another impressive break from Evans brought with it another score courtesy of Bobby Davies, who squeezed over in the corner to seal their victory.

The home side had to withstand some heavy pressure throughout the half due to their numerical disadvantage, and their devastating counter-attacking secured yet another try late on when Jonathan Stokes latched on to a long kick to touch down. Pike added the extras.

Pesda managed to secure a consolation for their efforts when Gethin Taylor scored and converted, but it did not take the gloss off another stylish performance from the Goats, which cemented their place in fourth spot ahead of their crunch home clash with Pwllheli on Saturday (2.30pm).
